How do you cleanse your skin properly?

Why do you need to do that? With what products? Discover all the secrets of cleansing your skin properly.

No need to repeat it, make-up removal and cleansing are the essential steps of any beautiful skin.

Indeed, taking care of your skin means, first of all, giving it a moment each morning and evening to cleanse it of all impurities so that it can fully benefit from all the products you offer it afterward.

Why cleanse my skin?

Make-up removal, an essential beauty gesture.

Make-up removal and cleansing respond to the skin's need to be cleansed and purified regularly.

In fact, applying make-up or beauty products without a complete cleansing beforehand would be counterproductive, as the skin and its pores retain impurities and favor the creation of small imperfections and pimples and accelerate skin aging.

Morning and evening imperatively

Do you often wonder if it is essential to cleanse your skin in the morning and in the evening?

The answer is a resounding yes.

Why is that?

In the evening, make-up removal and cleansing seem obvious: make-up, pollution, dust... the skin needs to breathe and get rid of the residues accumulated throughout the day.

And makeup or no makeup, don't shy away from the skin cleansing exercise.

Make-up is not the only thing your skin gets rid of in the evening, the polluting agents in our environment also suffocate your epidermis!

Moreover, the massage you can offer to the muscles of your face, as well as the oxygenation of your skin are the ingredients for a more beautiful, radiant and younger looking skin.

"Stimulate the face, keep it from sleeping and intoxicating, make it alive; a real and rational physical activity is required." N. –G. PAYOT

In the morning the skin also needs to be cleansed of dust, traces of last night's perspiration and residues of your night cream.

To cleanse it gently and preserve it without the risk of skin damage, choose gentle care products and active ingredients that respect your skin type.

Which ones should you choose for your skin?

Cleansers for combination to oily skin

Combination to oily skins are skins that produce excess sebum. They can be recognized by their characteristic shine, mainly on the T-Zone (nose, forehead, chin).

For this type of skin, prefer light, foaming textures that rinse off with water and respect the epidermis.

Combination to oily skin fears overly abrasive skin care products that attack it.

Cleansers for dry to very dry skin

Dry skin, on the other hand, lacks sebum because it does not produce enough.

It is therefore important to give them a little comfort with richer, creamier skin care products and cleansers made of milk, balm or cream.

What about the micellar water in all this?

Micellar waters are popular.

Containing micelles with the ability to cling to impurities present on the surface of the skin.

The micelles invite themselves into our skin care products and thanks to them, the waters can be transformed into ultra-effective make-up removers and cleansers.

Clean skin is:

  • Less dull, better oxygenated

  • More receptive to care (creams, serums, fluids, make-up)

  • Younger, longer

What's the lotion for?

The lotion or tonic is sometimes the little forgotten part of the make-up removal-cleaning ritual. However, a freshness toning lotion completes the cleansing process by removing limescale residues deposited by the water, while having an immediate freshness effect and a micro-exfoliating action for a healthy glow.

However, don't forget that the lotion is not a substitute for a make-up remover-cleaning product!
